My parents, M&P, were egalitarians to the Nth degree. As children, if one person needed a particularly expensive Christmas present one year, we all received expensive Christmas presents that year. That is how I, as a lowly 8th grader in 1981, landed a brand new Canon AE-1 Program. From that time forth, I have had a camera attached to me at all times.
Photos help me process and understand. Photos have helped me see that my fear of cages (and fear in general) has been a surprisingly big motivator in my life. Understanding that explains some of my oddities, not all of them, as many are unexplainable, but some.
Join me as I write about my unconventional life, experiences, and photos as I seek a cage-free life.
